You will be able to renew your scholarship annually, if you meet the following minimum criteria:
□ You plan to continue your undergraduate education at a University of Colorado campus in the upcoming school year.
□ You are still a single parent with primary responsibility for raising your children and you qualify for financial aid.
□ You achieved a minimum 2.0 grade point average for the past scholarship year, with no grade below a C.
□ You completed a minimum of 24 credit hours in the prior scholarship year (including summer school) and remain on course to graduate from CU within 3 or 4 years of commencing your sophomore year, 2 or 3 years of commencing your junior year and 1 or 2 year of commencing your senior year.
NECESSARY RENEWAL DOCUMENTS & PROCEDURE
To apply to renew your scholarship, please go online and fill out the renewal application. The form is interactive; you have the ability to type directly onto the form and to file it online – deadline May 30.

□ On or before May 30 - Print, sign, date and deliver one copy of the Student Certification & Release and other required documentation to the financial aid office at the CU campus where you plan to enroll in the upcoming school year. You do not have to deliver the entire application that you filed online.

□ Print one copy of this overview & checklist for your files to remind you of the process and key dates.
NECESSARY APPEAL DOCUMENTS & PROCEDURE
If you did not meet the minimum criteria regarding grade point average, obtained a grade below a C or did not complete a minimum of 24 credit hours relevant to your graduation in a timely manner, T&R Fund recognizes that every student faces challenges that may prevent them from meeting the minimum criteria. As such, we have in place an appeals process whereby you may be able to retain your scholarship. The Appeal Form should be included with your student certification and release form in a sealed envelope and delivered to your financial aid office. If you decide to appeal, your advisor or financial aid officer should be able to give you a sense of whether it is worth your while to undertake the effort. Appeals are not considered if there is a change in marital status, or a material change in your child rearing or financial status.
