The Process:

□ Your advisor or financial aid officer should be able to give you a sense of whether it is worth your effort to pursue this scholarship.

□ The financial aid department at each campus will review all of the applications it receives and select applications (including renewing applicants) that will be further reviewed.  The number of applications that each campus will submit for further review may change annually depending on our level of funding.  Your financial aid officer will be able to tell you how many applicants your campus will be submitting for further review each year.  In the past there have been as many as two to three applicants for every scholarship granted and the selection process is competitive.

□ An Independent Selection Committee will review all applications forwarded by the various participating campuses. For the 2012 - 2013 school year, a minimum of forty $5,000 scholarships (including renewals) will be available.

□ We do not restrict you as to how the funds are used.

□ If selected, your scholarship is renewable annually, if you meet all of the renewal criteria set out on the renewing applicant portion of this website.
